The Garden Moth Trap - Sunday night

Another beautiful day and some cloud cover (or ash?) at last as the day was drawing to a close. Temperatures hovering around 9c for a few hours, this morning dropping to 4c.
But it was all worth it, as I discovered a new garden record, a Lunar Marbled Brown! also new for the year were Double-striped Pug and Waved Umber.
Also finally some Micro Moths were recorded, albeit common species.

  1. Hi Ben,

Lovely record of LMB. The VC30 group caught some in Flitwick Moor on Friday night. I take it you live in a wooded area?
