Catch Report - 08/03/12 - Farmland/Back Garden - Hertfordshire

A poor night by recent standards, considering it stayed above 6c all night.
The next trapping will be on sunday 11th and hopefully I will trap more than just 6 for 11 hours of light!

  1. Hi Ben, sorry to be slow in commenting this season but it's a tonic to read about your catches and I am lost in admiration for your methodical approach which you combine with making things lively and fun. I like the moving strip of pics across the blog to too.

Your Dotted Chestnut fills me with envy. I wonder if I will ever get one of those in Leeds. Moths seem to be moving about and defying the Waring and Townend boundaries more than ever, so here's hoping. For now, I am more than satisfied with my first Oak Beauty, even if it is 'common'.

Thanks too for your very much appreciated corrections to my bungles with Quakers, Drabs etc

    Warm wishes

    Martin
