A few bits

Continuing the general trend of this year, I have just heard that it has been the coldest spring for 50 years, not great for our lepidopterian friends then.

Today I saw a Cinnabar and Nut-tree Tussock at the Anchor pub in Wadesmill here in Hertfordshire, the Cinnabar had somehow got inside the light!

At home I have had a little pet and a garden tick, a bundle of twigs forming Psyche casta, it was found on a leaf in the garden, but since being indoors it has ventured from the leaf and is hanging on the underside of the pot which it is in, is it about to emerge possibly? I hope it is a male.....
