Daytime netting on my parents farm

Had a good hour netting some bits yesterday on my parents farm, a lovely untouched habitat of mainly stinging nettles, thistles, teasles, wild rose and many other wildflowers. The farm has been closed for 7 years now and most of the 10 acres has been left to its own devices, perfect for moths then!

Had some fantastic results with moths literally everywhere you looked and several new butterflies for the year including Brown Argus.

I am looking forward to trapping up there this coming saturday with the moth group, fingers crossed!
