Tough trapping

Very quiet last night and with clear skies, a bit of a breeze and temperatures as low as 8.5c it wasn't surprising that all I found were 12 moths in and around the trap!
Nevertheless there was a hint of interest, a new for year Barred Sallow, a huge and really fresh Common Marbled Carpet and a migrant Plutella xylostella.
Also the 4th Large Ranunculus of the year was noted.
I will try again either tonight or tomorrow night, apparently it is set to get warmer into next week?
