Garden Catch 09/07/18 - The pretty Magpie

The catch eas brightened up somewhat this morning by a beautiful Magpie Moth, a species that is frequent here and usually annual only missing out it's appearance last year, it is also the 200th species of Macro for the garden in 2018.

A darker Common Rustic sp was dissected and indeed my suspicions were correct when it turned out to be only my second garden record of the Lesser variety.

A quieter night in general with lows of just 12c which was very cool compared to recent nights of 16c!

Garden species count for 2018 now upto 355.

Here are the new for year species.
