Latest from the garden trap - Stevenage, North Herts

Well the weather really warmed up a week ago, to 31 degrees and the moths were in relative abundance. With this warm weather, it makes it incredibly hard to pot up the moths, and photograph them hence some rather quick pot shots to confirm the record.

Best moths were a single Coleophora conspicuella, which is becoming annual here now, the lovely looking Hedya Salicella, and  gen det confirmed Lesser Common Rustic.

Only new for year species listed below.

Moth species for 2021 in the garden now stands at 324.
