A slow start to the year but warmer days feel like Spring

A lovely few days here in East Cambs, with temperatures around 10 to 12 degrees, lovely in the sunshine and out of the wind.
With a North facing garden, i'm having to dry out all of my moth equipment and sheet because of the heavy dew last night.
I probably won't run my trap tonight, I tried last night for a few hours for just 2 moths.

The below catch was from Sunday night where the temperature stayed about 7 degrees all night, but with a keen wind.
Dotted Border was pleasing, and the 12th species for the year.

Still no Chestnut, despite trapping 4 Dark Chestnuts so far this year.

Moth garden list for 2023 stands at 12 species
