Testing times for moths

Horribly cool east wind is putting a downer on moth recording currently, and looking forward to the week ahead, in short, I don't think it's going to be worth it.

But we'll take each day as it comes.

Last nights numbers and species were well down, but it did include a beautiful Eyed Hawk-moth and a lovely fluffy White Ermine.

Just two species of micro moth were observed, showing the severity of the conditions.

Cool, almost cold today, so it's not happening tonight as we are expecting a near frost :/
