A bit of a disappointing catch both times this week despite warmish temperatures, little wind and plenty of cloud cover.
Nothing new but at least a few moths graced the traps.
I really did expect more last night with a daytime high of 13c, down to 10c at 9pm and then this morning at 6 it was still a respectable 6c.
Just 4 moths of 2 species! .....maybe i've been spoilt a bit recently!
No pictures of moths i'm afraid...
But a very amateur picture of the Solar Eclipse at about 85% maximum (we saw it in Ware for about 15 seconds before the cloud swallowed it again!
