I disturbed the tiny Agonopterix purpurea from the Ivy in the alleyway adjacent to the garden earlier, not one but two of them! This is an uncommon moth here in Cambridgeshire.
The warmth has clearly made them come out of deeper hibernation.
Another cold night tonight so the moth trap will be fairly quiet I would imagine.
