Starting to get going now here in my garden and it was like a switch flicked on in preparation for May.
With warm days but still a bit cool at night, things are on the move.
The night before the turn of the month I recorded an excellent 19 species in and around my trap.
But before I get ahead, here are two catches from the weekend going into the working week, dominated by new for year micros (some which were netted at dusk).
