Two smashing female December Moths last night to my trap here in Fordham, East Cambridgeshire, the first examples of the year.
Never, have I ever had two Females at once to a trap before.
A warm and mild night with minimums of 11c yielded just 4 other moths, rather less than I was expecting given the temperatures, but needless to say I was thrilled to record my 217 species for the garden.
Tonight could be even warmer and calmer, lets see what happens!
