Scarce Bordered Straw completes the common/semi-scarce migrant set for the garden list.
What started off rather slow here for migrants during mid to late Summer, things really stepped up a bit come September and migrants became a regular sight here in my garden trap.
With just over 70 miles between where I live and the nearest coastline (Harwich/Felixstowe area) a Scarce Bordered Straw is a pretty good moth this far inland, and one i've taken less than 10 times in 16 years.
Very pleased indeed.
